Apocalypse

26th January, 2012

With my black bamboo house having somehow survived the continued wind battering throughout the night, it was interesting to see a theme appear across the internets this morning - Apocalypse, or more precisely, products to help you survive it. From Google’s new Public Alerts overlay for its maps application to the super simple Spare One phone that claims to keep charge for up to 15 years on just one AA battery to Safety Maps, your print-out-and-keep guide to meeting points in times of emergency. Expect this to be a theme in 2012. Batten down the hatches people!
