The waiting game

20th November, 2011

An oft overlooked side effect of our post-industrialist world-push for ‘more, faster’ is that there is so often a disconnect between our physical and imagined worlds  – Our creative community’s minds fashion ideas way quicker than we can hope to produce them so by extension, and paradoxically, the ‘faster’ and ‘better’ we push things to become, the more time we end up waiting. More interesting still is in our incessant drive for speed, we invariably lose quality or focus in what we are trying to achieve.
