Atelier de Production et de Creation is the combination of a beautifully understated, yet very recognisable brand with a product that sits back and lets the quality of craft do the talking. Knurling is a manufacturing process, typically conducted on a lathe, whereby a visually-attractive diamond-shaped (criss-cross) pattern is cut or rolled into metal or wood. This pattern allows hands or fingers to get a better grip on the knurled object than would be provided by the originally-smooth surface. I like knurled surfaces.
